Regional Recruiter
MasTec Advanced Technologies has an immediate opening for a recruiter to manage the high volume recruiting needs for the region and markets in which they support. The ideal candidate will have an HR Generalist background with at least 5 years of experience in high volume recruiting.
Summary:
Working closely with the Corporate Recruiting Manager, Regional Vice Presidents, Regional Human Resource Managers and Field Operations Management Team, the Regional Recruiter is responsible for all of the full cycle recruiting efforts for the region in which they support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Effectively source, screen and hire a high volume of field technicians and field managers within a very low time-to-fill quota. • Stay on top of trends in recruitment, and bringing creative sourcing techniques to bear. • Ensure consistency in hiring practices and in compliance with all laws. • Schedule/coordinate interviews with Hiring Managers. • Work with Regional Vice President and District Managers to forecast recruitment needs. • Perform all pre-employment hiring processes in a confidential manner. • Follow-Up with New-Hires on an on-going basis to retain productive employees.• Partner with Regional HR Manager to surface employee relations/training issues as needed.• Visit Field offices and communicate with Technician Supervisors, Office Supervisors, and Operations Managers.• Partner with Regional HR Manager and Field Operations to identify internal candidates as part of company’s succession planning process.
Skills and Requirements:
• 5+ years of high-volume full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a staffing, retail or hospitality environment with multi-unit/location responsibility. • Must have demonstrated ability and experience successfully managing a high volume of open requisitions at one time.• Experience in interviewing applicants and assessing candidates experience with the scope of an open position and utilizing behavioral interviewing techniques.• Must have high level of experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems. • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow through skills • Plan recruiting events, itineraries, and schedules.• Generate recruiting leads by attending job fairs and visiting tech schools to recruit possible candidates

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelors Degree and/or PHR Preferred.
This position requires up to 90% travel. Local candidates only.
